Shri Rajani Kant is a distinguished administrator known for his dynamic leadership, administrative acumen, and commitment to institutional excellence. Presently serving as Registrar of Bihar Sports University, he brings with him rich experience in governance, public administration, and organizational management.
An officer of the Bihar Administrative Service BAS (93) and a member of the Indian Administrative Service (2011), Shri Rajani Kant has demonstrated exceptional administrative and managerial capabilities throughout his illustrious career. He has successfully handled several key responsibilities in public administration and has earned recognition for his efficient, people-centric, and result-oriented approach.
His tenure as District Magistrate of Lakhisarai reflected his strong leadership, administrative vision, and flawless conduct of Lok Sabha elections and dedication towards public service. Shri Rajani Kant has also served as Chief General Manager (CGM) of Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited, and Bihar State Food & Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. where he contributed significantly towards institutional development and governance.
Beyond administration, Shri Rajani Kant is widely admired for his enthusiasm towards sports, fitness, literature, and adventure activities. A good cricketer, badminton player, trekking enthusiast, and well-versed with Pali literature, Shri Rajani Kant strongly believes in the values of discipline, perseverance, teamwork, intellectual growth, and holistic development fostered through sports and education.
